Bryant told me he didn't have to pass his research through the IRB because taxidermed birds don't have backbones.
is taxiderm a verb? i think it should be. as in, "i totally taxitermed that guy at the sorority bar last night".
I think this is one of those words that exists in my head, not not officially anywhere else. Of COURSE it should be a verb!
I support making use of all nouns as verbs.
I mean, it happens so seamlessly. They just flow out of me. It's creative and fun. And, it always serves a purpose. Sometimes the best way to say something is by taking a noun and making it a verb.
Maybe it's the American in me that wants to verbify.
In which case, I'd rather not.
It's true. No backbones. Only skins and a skull.
I'd like to go on the record as not supporting the use of nouns as verbs. Gifting is a bane to humanity. So is "visioning."
