Tonight over dinner Mary and I worked out what my "type" of person is: older, pear-shaped, and a stick-in-the-mud. It's hard to see why I'm not dating anyone.
Andrew, Lucy, and I sit in a busy Paradiso when the music is turned down and a barista asks if Lucinda Cross is still there. It takes me a fraction of a second to misinterpret the question to mean that the barista is telling the customers that Lucinda Williams is there. I scan the tables to see if she really is. Andrew, on the other hand, is not at all confused by this and immediately points at Lucy and yells, "It's her! There she is!" The coffee shop is completely quiet as Lucy stands up and walks to the counter as I dissolve into laughter.
Yes. I put my keyboard in the dishwasher and washed it. To be on the safe side I've been letting it dry out for about three days now and will probably let it dry more over the weekend. I didn't take pictures of the process but I did stage a reenactment for you. Of course I won't post those pictures until until the keyboard is dry and I can hook it back up to my computer.
Other good news of the day includes my car only needing more antifreeze, thrift store finds (I bought you some jeans LAH), a dentist appointment, and the completion of the Graduate Academy.
So I built the catcam and it worked. And thanks to David's suggestion, I took a few pictures of the progress. However I'm not going to post them until later because I'm using my very slow laptop while the keyboard for my desk top dries out. And that's about it.
