hard to believe evidence that spring might be around the corner

Of course the local NPR meteorologist has been cautioning the audience that while the climatological spring is around the corner, our temperatures are going to be staying around freezing for a long time.

Except,

Case A: Bulbs were witnessed poking out of the ground near a friend's house.

Case B: The snow is melting, slowly.

Case C: There just might be a hint of green tinting the grass.

Case D: When I left work late yesterday, it was still light outside.

Case E: The air smells different.

Case F: I want to be outside.

But then again, snow flurries are predicted for tomorrow evening.

Case G: I'm coming out for Spring Break! Woooooo!

...Although neither of us is technically on spring break (though, still a student, I will have one in a few weeks) and it's for a conference.

Still, woooooo!

If I don't see some Girls Gone Wild style photos on your blogs, I'm going to be very disappointed.

Even with the snow.

Leah and Ceri: Next weekend happens to be the celebration of "Unofficial." For those who don't celebrate this holiday, and therefore will not know what it is, it is a holiday like St. Patrick's Day where you can drink all day. In fact, that's where its name comes from because it's unofficially St. Patrick's Day and so we can drink all day. Undergraduates from far and wide come to share in this special occasion.
