50/50

Not that I entertain the thought, but I can now imagine how people compete in triathlons. After running yesterday for the first time in years and then, with aching legs, rode my bike. The bike riding didn't hurt at all. Unfortunately, today I could hardly walk.

My new bike is almost done. Just in time to ride across Iowa.

Do they haul you to Sioux City? Where do you park your car? How do you get home?

Have fun on RAGBRAI! If you pass through Davenport, tell it hi for me. =)

Daniel - no one specific, although you're welcome to make the trip up.

Leah - we're going with a group that handles all the logistics. We have to park at their bike shop, but from there they handle the bikes and the gear.

strovska - we also start on the western side and ride east so we have the tailwind. But, I knew some people who moved to Portland on their bikes. They rode from St. Louis to Portland in a month and a half, loaded down, through the mountains. That is hardcore.

Misty - I will say hi to Davenport for you. Although I'd rather say hi to you in Davenport.
