Not to ring my own bike bell, but...
...it's national bike to work day and I rode to work.
Let's unpack. First this means I woke up in time to get ready for riding* and then the actual ride. I think my bike computer said 8:36 as I was rolling out of the driveway and it was 9:04 when I got to work. Even though I was a little late, I still managed to get in the group bike-to-work-day photo; I'm sure I look awkward. In other news, I definitely had the hotest bike. Second, I haven't really ridden my bike since November and I'm getting soft from the office job. The ride really wasn't bad. Unfortunately I probably won't ride the rest of the week because it's supposed to rain and I have to babysit.
*This just involves eating breakfast at home instead of a snack at work.

could there really be anyone who *didn't* look awkward in a Bike to Work Day picture?
Leah, I don't even know who took the picture so I can't tell you where it's at.
I agree everyone looks awkward in a bike to work day picture; there were a lot of helmets still being worn, myself included.
