Have I Mentioned How Nice My Roommates Are?
That's a potato* and berry smoothie waiting in the fridge for me when I got up.
*I can't taste the potato, so I'm not sure if potatoes actually made it in. It mostly tastes like berries and yogurt.

My favorite part is the way it's wrapped in a napkin identifying it as for you!
Me too. I loved everything about this. First finding the note that said what kind of smoothie it was to looking in the refrigerator and seeing the napkin wrapped Mason jar. The jar is especially funny because I've been using them to carry coffee to school in. Everyone thinks it's kind of weird, but apparently the jar is catching on.
i am so happy to hear you use jars as travel mugs. i used them to take beverages to school with me when i subbed in the spring. i felt a little silly, but now i'll feel proud.
My roommate and I are slowly changing over all our drinking glasses to small mason jars. We like the durability, texture, and weight of them.
